ANDREA FAZEKAS

Andrea has been active in the Budapest specialty coffee scene since its beginning. A key element in Espresso Embassy's inaugural crew, and later, head barista at Café Nomuri, Andrea has always focused on filter coffee and pushed the importance of the brew bar. She has competed and placed in many national barista and brewing competitions, and is internationally known in these circles. She also curates and leads several coffee themed walks for Budapest gastro tourism groups like Taste Hungary and Hosszúlépés. Her coffee knowledge and creative concepts lay the foundation for our brand.

TOM SZÉLPÁL

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tom relocated to Budapest to pursue a career in film, learn more about his Hungarian roots, and enjoy a European lifestyle. He has witnessed the evolution of coffee scenes on both sides of the pond, getting his introduction to single origin roasts at Rising Star Coffee Cleveland, and working as a barista at Kelet Café and Gallery in Budapest.
